I was starting to get worried, the game is due out this thursday and there have been no real reviews. This alleviates some of the worry, but i pre ordered anyway.
did mass effect not have crazy load times with the famous elevator? Anyway MGS4 will be one of the biggest games of 08.

well where I live, the costco got two pallets of wii's and sold most of the first pallet in a week, and all the stores where I went for reading week had none, and didn't plan on recieving any until atleast april. Most of the stores had a few 80gb ps3's and a couple 360's.
although the numbers aren't that low for 360. When sony bundles MGS4 with an 80 gb ps3 that is going to sell like a MOFO. I hope it is as good as anticipated. So what other 3rd person games are people looking forward 2?

It was on my radar, but I like coop. It seems interesting that you can use the sixaxis to control the weapons just like Heavenly Sword.
I am counting on this game to fill in for my 3rd person shooter needs, as a ps3 owner.

Blu ray is the future you door knob. I sure hate the ability to go down and buy a movie, or have to wait like 4 hours to watch the movie. Great idea, you do realize that there is still a portion if the population that does not have high speed internet. Use common sense a physical media will not be replaced by a download.
